Principal's Message

Welcome to Indian Head Elementary School! We are located on Treaty 4 land and the homeland of the Métis. We are a Prekindergarten to Grade 6 elementary school, that serves the educational needs of approximately 265 students.

On behalf of our dedicated instructional and support staff, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you!  We strive to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming school, where students are encouraged and inspired to become the best they can be.

In addition to instilling a love of learning through curriculum and instruction, we offer a variety of extra-curricular activities including cross country running, book club, volleyball, basketball, track and field, intramurals, choir, drama, yearbook, coding club and Student Leadership Council.

We are excited to embark on this learning journey with you and your child.  We believe that building relationships with families is essential and contributes to a stronger school community.  It is important to us to foster a cooperative spirit and supportive learning environment by working together to best support your child’s development.
